"FISHHOOK CACTUS"
(Mammillaria Tetrancistra)
The Fishhook cactus fascinates me to no end. Every time I see one in bloom I can not get enough of looking at it. They are delicate and fragile. Their petals softly move in the hot breeze of the desert wind.
When seeing them in bloom in my desert backyard, I feel as fortunate as the artist Claude Monet, who had flowering water lilies in his own backyard pond. I feel very fortunate to have them so close.
