The Morning Glory cactus blooms during Spring throughout the Southwest.

The Desert Botanical Gardens, my teaching ground, is one great place to see them up close. I have also come across these flowering treasures while walking in the open desert of sand and rocks while enduring the heat. It is a different story and you want to savor that moment forever which is what I did.
