"Sky City"

The Hopi pueblo, Walpi is located on the First Mesa in Northern Arizona. When I saw the Sky City for the first time, I could hardly believe it was there, because it blended in with its environment. It was winter and cold, but the afternoon sun enriched the red rocks with a feeling of warmth, which encouraged me to climb up the steep rocky hillside and satisfy my curiosity.

Once at the village I was allowed to walk through it, but no camera! I took my time and felt I was wandering through a very old nearly prehistoric settlement. It was awesome.
